A past made present by means of the future.
This exhibition navigates topical global issues of sustainability, political and social unrest as well as the digital revolution through technocentric illustrations by depicting the socio-environments of varying countries in the year of 2052. ‘Geo Views’ discusses both sides of the same digital coin incorporating tones ranging from cool earth palettes to hyper pop colour schemes through digital mediums. The dystopic representations of our political climate portray the seriousness of these current crises and act as a warning, foreshadowing how these issues would manifest in the near future. The utopic perspectives illustrate a technology-based world in complete harmony with themes of restoration and healing in both cultural and environmental contexts.
